Each Wave starts as a digital design. Prototypes are refined as printing and testing reveal what should change next.
02 — 3D Printing
Digital designs become physical rollers through FDM 3D printing in a solar-powered studio in Wales.
03 — Production & Finishing
Made-to-order components are prepared and finished for the selected build. Production time can vary with order details, colour choices, personalisation and material availability.
04 — Testing
Testing feeds directly back into development. Published LAYR55 development work includes testing a roller under a load of up to 250 kg.
