Every new idea has a starting point. Ours began during an injury rehabilitation programme.
As an athlete, our designer and technician, Owain, spends a lot of time using foam rollers as part of his recovery. While they certainly have their place, he often found himself wishing there were something that better suited his needs.
He wanted a roller that was easier to carry, and he became interested in whether it might be possible to create different levels of firmness rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
That curiosity led to an idea.
With a background in design and 3D printing, Owain began experimenting with whether a foam roller could be manufactured in a completely different way.
It wasn’t about reinventing recovery. It was simply about seeing whether modern manufacturing could offer another option.

There were plenty of hours spent designing, printing, testing and making small adjustments. Like any new project, not everything worked the first time. But every prototype taught us something.
Then came a special moment. The first roller emerged from the printer that genuinely felt promising.
Holding that first successful print was incredibly rewarding. It wasn’t perfect, and there was still plenty to improve, but it proved that the idea had real potential.
It was compact enough to slip into a kit bag, and the printed structure opened up exciting possibilities for adjusting firmness and feel in ways that traditional manufacturing doesn’t easily allow.

Today marks an important milestone for us. We celebrate the creation of our very first 3D-printed foam roller.
It is the beginning of a journey rather than the end of one.
Over the coming months, we’ll continue to learn, refine our designs and listen to feedback from athletes as we develop our range.
We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we’re excited to see where this journey leads and to share it with you along the way.
This is the first chapter in our story. We hope you’ll enjoy following the journey as much as we’re enjoying creating it.
